Our Solo Show was created to identify, encourage and showcase artists whose work is ambitious, distinct and provocative. We are proud to announce an artist who captures that and more, our 3rd Solo Show Artist, photographer & performer, Sean Fader. Art historian David Getsy says "Fader has managed to find a practice in which the seamlessness of his technical manipulation of digital photography is counter-posed with messy, funny, uncomfortable, and charged psychological and intersubjective negotiations that make the work alluring and, ultimately, unsettling." His work isn't about the end result; it is the process of producing that result that is his art, and he pulls it off with out a hitch. We are excited by his approach, his perspective and his creativity and can't wait to see what's next.
