Call for Artists: Excalibur Sculpture Foundry Group Show

Submit your work to this juried competition for group sculpture exhibition! It will run from May 3 – May 14, 2010.  Opening event Saturday, May 1.

The winner will receive $2,500 in bronze casting services. Jury: Excalibur Sculpture Foundry Artists.

The Williamsburg Gallery Association Needs Volunteers!

The Williamsburg Gallery Association is looking for a few volunteers to help get the word out for Armory Weekend about Brooklyn Armory Night! 

Saturday, March 6th is the Williamsburg Armory Night. Galleries will be open until 10pm & have special programming, including music and performance.   
The WGA is also launching the WGA RAW Mag, the definitive guide the Williamsburg / Bushwick / Greenpoint galleries. The WGA will be hosting an afterparty at The Hope Lounge (10 Hope Street, at Havermeyer) to celebrate both events.

To volunteer and support these events for a few hours on Saturday, March 6th in exchange for some fabulous perks, please email Drew at Drew.Catlin@gmail.com

Hey Metal Worker! We need some sculptural metal legs made for a table - We love the photos of your work on on your blogspot.com blog - but what was with the Dear Diary entry on December 31, 2008? Did you really call your ex-boyfriend that in front of a room full of people? Harsh.

 

Make a website for your work that is JUST for your work: Intro to Dreamweaver (register by March 1!).

We are looking for dynamic, inventive and provocative work of all mediums: sculpture, photography, painting, printmaking, illustration, installation, graphic design, video and more!

This call is bigger & better than ever before!

The Selected Solo Show Artist will recieve:

• $5,000 cash grant

• Solo exhibition in 3rd Ward's gallery, complete with a massive opening reception

• 3-month residency at 3rd Ward including live/work studio & full facility access

• Airfare & shipping to and from 3rd Ward for non-NYC residents

• 2-page spread in 3rd Ward's Quarterly Magazine

• NYC exposure - postcards, fliers, press!
