Processing: an Introduction to Interactive Multimedia
This course will teach you the basics of Processing, an open source programming language and environment for people who want to program images, animations, and interactions. It is used by students, artists, designers, researchers, and hobbyists for learning, prototyping, and production. It is supported by a large community that promotes the ideals of open source by openly sharing code and ideas. Processing is also extremely expandable through software libraries and hardware interfacing.
This class will take place in our Media Lab, equipped with fully-loaded iMac design workstations. Basic computer literacy is required for this course.
NO previous programming experience is required!
