Fashion Illustration
Learn the basics of traditional fashion illustration through hand rendering techniques. Learn to draw the figure and different poses from imagination as well as from a live fashion model. Students will develop a group of croquis (fashion figures) to use as templates to illustrate their designs.
Figure placement and page layout will be taught as well as an introduction to color theory as used in fashion design. Students will learn how to illustrate in a multitude of mediums ranging from colored pencil to guache to markers as well as the use of collage.
Please bring a sketch pad and pencils. On the first day you will be provided with a list of recommended supplies for the duration of the course.
